ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Head of HR, not a miracle worker !
Working with a newly formed team of directors and a full suite of experienced managers, we are looking for someone to help mould the future of Xbite. We have seen accelerated growth in recent years and predict that this will continue into the future. We recognise this growth can only happen if we have all the right ingredients of People, Culture and Process and with over 100 employees we hope to see continued growth across all departments. We are a company who believes in investing in people and are proud to have developed our own in house HR system to fit for our needs which we are continually striving to make improvements and will be investing a further £250k over the next 5 years. You will play a pivotal role in the development of the features and the functions of the system.
The Role will be to support the business, to lead and develop a framework based on five key themes: Develop, Deploy, Protect, Reward and Recruit in order to demonstrate the integral role that Human Resources performs in supporting the business.
Working with the leadership team you will be responsible for the design and implementation of strategic people policies, performance and reward initiatives for the business, including ad hoc projects.
Recruitment is a major part of this role ensuring we are attracting the right people through engaging and targeted advertising. You will be responsible for developing and leveraging relationships with universities, colleges, Apprenticeship programs, Recruitment sites & agencies.
Moulding our People objectives and KPIs to support the business needs and working with your team to deliver them.
Responsible for assessing the impact of major policy & legislative change. To initiate and direct strategies to develop the business and address both the challenges and opportunities arising from such a policy & legislative changes.
Provide strategic advice and guidance in Recruitment, Employment Relations, Organisational Development, Health & Safety and special projects.
Support the ongoing development of the internal HR systems to improve usability and steer the direction of the development.
To provide a Learning & Development program across all levels of the business to help people be the best that they can be.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role which aligns with the values of the business and allows the right person to make and implement decisions.
Must be committed, flexible with a positive "can-do" attitude
Minimum CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent
Previous experience at HR Manager level preferably within a similar sized workforce
Strong stakeholder management and negotiating capability
Passionate about people development and maximising people capability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects
Proactive by nature and super organised
